Expensive for an average product
HTC have put a lot of thought into the mechanism so that it covers every angle your protractor can throw at it. It's got an assuring 'twist and lock' suction mount and the supplied (mini) USB cable with car charger plugs neatly into the base. However the arm and ball design isn't very intuitive and it takes a while to understand how to manoeuvre the unit into your desired position. In addition, the most important part of the product - the actual holder - feels vulnerable to snapping if left to rattle about in a glove box for example. For £50 HTC should have designed a complete holder rather than the three "arms" that feel so vulnerable (however this could also prove a hindrance to the phone's antennas). Compared to my former Nokia HH-22/CR-99, it's a fancy and expensive upgrade but only time will tell whether it lasts.
